If my life does not go according to plan in relation to University and what not. I think that I would be just as happy being the man there. Selling paintings in Paris on the side of the street. While it may not be high paying, seeing the many faces of people walking past and being in a beautiful place would be joy enough. Occasionally I would buy a loaf of bread and some boysenberry jam to eat.
Or perhaps the lady with the warm jacket. I wonder where she is going?
The band not the city.
So while many others before have mentioned the beauty that is Beirut I need to add my adoration. Zach Condon makes me sway as his polished, rustic melodies float through the air into my ears. He reminds me of carousels and circus tents, the driving force behind a new found inspiration. Yes, this is music, how I like it to be.
The music over rules the fact that this clip might not be the best quality. Sway side to side and run off with the Gypsy living at the docks.
Christmas has come and gone. New Years has come and gone. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I thought about looking back at 2008, and then I thought about 2009 and all the things that will come with it. The more I thought the more I decided that I didn't particularly want to do either. Right now I'm enjoying my dream world too much to leave it. But for the sake of remembering later, a quick list of what happened last year: - I woke up and went to school
- Pierced my nose
- Was rather ill
- Cut my hair off
- Fell in love with vintage dresses and teacups (oh no wait, that was my entire life)
- Missed friends and found them again
- Received a telephone call
Next year I hope will be full of nice things, nice people, picnics and dresses. I hope that also that I don't put holes in all my stockings. For that to happen I might need to stop being so clumsy. No. That won't happen.balloonsAnd to finish, this is what I am currently dreaming about: Carousels and Balloons.
